These charters set out with the intention of catching mako sharks in excess of 500 pounds! IGFA certified gear is used for these huge fish ensuring your chances at the record books. If your looking for “the big one” your best bet is in Los Angeles. With the most experienced captains and crew, we provide you with the best chance at your “trip of a lifetime”. Mako shark and Thresher shark are excellent table fare. Our crew will be happy to clean your catch for you. In order to preserve our resources, catch and release is encouraged. We allow one mako or thresher shark to be kept per trip. All sharks over 150lbs. will be released with 1 exception. Exception includes potential world records.
