The Argo charters for up to six anglers, but welcomes smaller groups and kids. The Argo is a sturdy 33-foot vessel featuring roomy cabin space, ample fishing room, and a clean bathroom.

Departing San Francisco’s Fisherman Wharf year-round, the sport fishing action migrates throughout the bay and ocean depending on the season. Salmon, striped bass, rockfish, and halibut are prime summer species, with sturgeon coming into play throughout the winter. Catch-and-release leopard shark fishing is available within the summer and fall months.

Captain Craig Hanson is a San Francisco native with more than 45 years experience catching fish in all Bay Area waters. He happily dishes out knowledge and tales of years past along with helpful tips to increase your fishing success.
