Captain Todd Mansur was born and raised on the waters of Dana Point and has been a staple in the Orange County fishing industry ever since. The son of a fisherman, Todd spent his early years learning the ins and outs of the sea while working as a deck hand and crew member of many different charter boats in San Diego and Dana Point. By the age of 21 in 1987, Captain Todd obtained his 100-ton merchant marine operators license and soon after he purchased his first charter boat, the Cyperlurus. In 1992, Dana Wharf’s President, Mike Hansen, asked Captain Todd to operate one of their primary landing boats, the Sum Fun. While running the Sum Fun, Capitan Todd became a premier Captain running fishing carters and whale watching cruises.
